Bob has served on the board of Fairfield PAL for many years, and he is very active in community service, which he was honored in winning the 2006 CT. Volunteer of the Year Award. Bob currently serves as President of the Junior Babe Ruth Baseball Program in Fairfield, and has worked with the organization for the past twenty years. Bob is also a District two Commissioner of Baseball for CT. Babe Ruth. Bob’s current position is Vice President of Development for the PAL Organization.

Sgt. Frank Onder (Retired) – Former Treasurer
Frank is a retired Sergeant for the Fairfield Police Officer, for which he served for 31 years (1953 – 1984). He had been on the PAL Board of Directors since 1953 as PAL’s Treasurer (serving for the past 30 years, and still active). From 1949 till 1950, Frank assisted in forming the Fairfield Little League, and he served as a coach for the League. Frank also played baseball for Roger Ludlowe High School, Fairfield Townies, ST. James Romanians (Red Devils), and the White Eagles in Bridgeport (Senior City League).
Frank also served as a United States soldier in Korea during the Korean Conflict (1950-1952). While he was serving in the military, he played baseball for the Pine Camp Post Army Team.
Frank has been married to his wife, Marion for 57 years, and they both live in Fairfield.
